N&D Distinguished Institutions

Welcome! Your institution is invited to be considered and recognized as a Title I Distinguished Institution for the state of Pennsylvania. This invitation is extended to all institutions scheduled for monitoring during the 2009-2010 school year. Please complete the following questions to help us determine which institutions to select for this honor. The winning institutions must be able to commit to sending a representative to the Annual Neglected and Delinquent Symposium to be personally honored with the other distinguished institutions from across the state. This year there will be four awards, based on various criteria such as program content/design, creative use of funds, and program compliance issues. Each awardee will receive a $5,000 grant to be used in their Title I program. Understand that feedback from your servicing LEA and the results of your most recent monitoring visit will also be used to determine the overall strength of the application. The deadline for completion of this survey is May 1, 2010. The Neglected and Delinquent Committee must receive a response from the institution in order to consider them for recognition.
